Salem2Salem

Am Donnerstag 5. August 2010 wird auf Schloss Salem (Bodensee) das Projekt „Salem2Salem“ eröffnet. 34 Künstler aus den USA und Deutschland kommen in Salem für drei Wochen zusammen, um gemeinsam im Schloss zu leben und in ihren jeweiligen Sparten Literatur, Musik, Malerei, Bildhauerei und Medienkunst zu arbeiten. Ausgangspunkt des Künstleraustauschs ist die Verbindung der namensgleichen Orte Salem/Bodensee und Salem im Norden des State of New York mit dem dortigen Künstlerzentrum „SAW Salem Art Works“. Das Symposium wird organisiert vom Kulturamt Bodenseekreis und dem Verein „BodenseeKulturraum e.V.“.

The opening of the symposia „Salem2Salem“ will be held in Salem Castle (Lake of Constance) at thursday, 5th of august. 34 artists from the US (coming from the „SAW Salem Art Works“ NY State) and Southern Germany will get together at Salem Castle for 3 weeks to live and work there in their disiplinces like literature, music, fine arts and new media. The symposia is organized by the cultural ministry of the area of the Lake of Constance and „BodenseeKulturraum e.V.“.
